    NALSAR is hosting its annual Constitutional Law Moot, The B.R. Sawhney Memorial Moot Court Competition 2021, in collaboration with the Bodh Raj Sawhny Memorial Trust.

    ABOUT NALSAR UNIVERSITY

    The National Academy of Legal Studies and Research, is a National Law University located in Shamirpet, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is a public law school and one of the first universities in the nation to offer the five-year BA LLB course. It was established in 1998.With students admitted from all over the country and faculty drawn from home and abroad, NALSAR is counted amongst the top law schools of the country. The University in all its years of existence has attempted varied strategies to create a vibrant scholastic environment.


    ABOUT MOOT COURT COMPETITION

    The 14th edition of the moot court competition aims to further research work on the emerging issues related to Constitutional Law and to amplify the interest of the participants in the same. This Moot Court is conducted by NALSAR  in collaboration with the Bodh Raj Sawhny Memorial Trust. Due to Corona Conditions, this edition of Moot Court is going to conducted via online platform.


    TEAM COMPOSITION AND ELIGIBILITY

    ‌A team shall comprises of 3 members only out of which 2 are speakers and 1 is legal researcher.

    ‌Only bonafide students of a 5 year law course or 3 year course are allowed to register.


    REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

    1) The last date of registration is 20th August, 2021. 

    2) The registration fee is INR 1000 Per Team only for Stage 1.Teams that qualify Stage 1,i.e. the Memorial Elimination Round shall be required to make a payment of INR 2000 via an online bank transfer or UPI Transfer before the 3rd October 2021 (11:59 P.M. IST).

    3) The registration shall be done by filling up the registration form available. 

    And,

    Pay the registration fee via online bank transfer. No other method shall be accepted. Teams have to borne additional charges for making the transfer (if any). Attach the screenshot of your payment while filling the registration form.

    3) The registration shall be considered complete only when the ‘Registration Fee’ has been paid successfully and the registration form is duly filled with all the credentials.

    4) The participants will receive an official approval mail from organizing committee within 48 hours of their registration.

    5) The organizing committee shall communicate the unique team codes to each team through mail which shall be quoted by the teams for further communications with the organizing committee.

    6) Registration fee once paid is non-refundable.

    7)The organizing committee will have the sole and absolute discretion to shortlist the participants. The decision of the organizing committee will be final and binding on all concerned.

    ‌Oral Round: 9th-10th October 2021 (Saturday & Sunday)
